As a reminder, CourseKey will be used to track all course and clinic attendance starting in the Winter 2025 term. Here are few key details, resources and information to help you prepare for this transition:
- Downloading and Logging into CourseKey
If you haven’t already, follow these instructions to download the free CourseKey mobile app and login using your single sign on. If you’re accessing CourseKey for the first time, login access will not be available until 2 weeks before courses begin. - Synchronous Online Students: Check in Process
Students taking synchronous online courses will need to scan a QR code provided by the instructor at the start of class. No check out is required. In the event a student is unable to check in, or leaves early, the instructor will be responsible for making the manual adjustment in CourseKey. Refer to this article for more detailed instructions. - Synchronous OnGround Students: Check in Process
Check in will be available 15 minutes prior to the start of class. CourseKey will use GPS technology to detect your location and confirm you’re in the appropriate location before allowing you to check in. No check out is required. In the event a student is unable to check in, or leaves early, the instructor will be responsible for making the manual adjustment in CourseKey. Refer to this article for more detailed instructions. - Clinic Students: Check in/Check out Process
CourseKey will use GPS technology to detect your location and confirm you’re in the appropriate location before allowing you to check in. You’ll need to check in and out to record your attendance. In the event a student is unable to check in, the shift supervisor will be responsible for making the manual adjustment in CourseKey. Asynchronous attendance is automatically tracked by capturing an attendance qualifying event in Blackboard Learn. As students complete the events in Blackboard Learn, they can instantly view attendance records through the CourseKey mobile app. Refer to this article for more details. - Viewing Attendance Records
Students will have instant access to view attendance records through the CourseKey mobile app. - Course Access
Courses will be available in CourseKey two weeks before the class start date. - Technical Support
