Preparation for Spring 2024 comprehensive exams

Dear On-ground MSAc/MSTOM/MSAcCHM/DAc/DACM/DAcCHM/CCHM Students:

If you are an Alumni, a student in another program, or have no pending Comprehensive Exams, PLEASE disregard this email.

For those students looking forward to taking the comprehensive exams in the Spring 2024 term, here’s a quick reminder of the key dates and deadlines you need to keep in mind for the Spring 2024 term:

  • Sunday, May 26, 2024 – Deadline for Comps Exam Petition Spring 2024 term: Register for your exams by this date to secure your spot. Both regular and retake petitions are due Sunday, May 26th, 2024. (How you will petition for Comps will be via a form from Comps Coordinator on Week 1, which will be available until Week 3).  
  • Saturday, July 27, 2024 – Last day to withdraw from Comps without penalty Spring 2024 term: If you need to withdraw from the exam for any reason, doing so before this date will ensure you don’t face any financial or academic penalties.
  • Wednesday – Friday, August 14-16, 2024 – Spring 2024 Term Exam Dates: Mark your calendars! These are the days when the exams will take place.

The Preferred Name Request form enables students, faculty or staff who wish to identify by a chosen name other than their legal first name the opportunity to request their first name be updated in our systems for the purpose of being seen and referred to by their preferred name. Last names can only be changed by legally changing your name through the court system. Please note that Name Change Request must be approved by the college administration and once approved, may take 7-10 business days to go into effect in our systems. Please refer to the College’s Preferred Name Policy for more information.
