Pacific College of Health and Science is hiring for Herbal Inventory Coordinator at our Chicago Campus

Job Summary: Reports to the Director of Clinical Services (DCS) and Clinic Office Manager. Oversees herbal room supply and functioning and projects geared towards improving the clinical space. This is currently a part-time position, with the opportunity for flexible hours. Compensation for this position is $16.20/hour.

Essential Responsibilities:
•Perform regular inventory inspections for single granules, raw herbs, herbal formulas, and topicals.
•Purchase and restock clinic supplies, herbs, formulas and topicals while understanding budget and special deals offered by suppliers.
•Utilize ordering software and communicate with members of the PCHS clinical and finance teams.
•File and scan order invoices as needed.
•Complete requisitions on clinic purchases.
•Check deliveries for accuracy, collect invoices.
•Identify and remove expired herbs and products, documenting losses accurately.
•Inspect all equipment in the herb room; fix and replace as necessary.
•Works with clinic staff on projects for improvement of the clinical environment throughout the term.
•Coordinate herbal requests with supervisors, as needed.
•Maintains professional, safe, welcoming academic and clinical environment for students and patients.
•Ensures HIPAA, FERPA and safety compliance at all times.

Minimum/Required Qualifications:
•Highly organized with ability to work with various systems.
•Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
•Understanding of HIPAA and FERPA requirements.
•Excellent customer service and communication skills.
•Strong ability to resolve conflicts in a compassionate and courteous manner.
•Solution-oriented, with the ability to troubleshoot various issues.
•Works well individually and as a team member.
•Has the ability to listen and learn from others.
•Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook
Preferred Requirements:
•Knowledge of Pacific College of Health and Science
•Previous experience with retail, inventory management, organizational, clinical positions
•Currently enrolled in an herbal program, at least clinic level AI1 or above
