Welcome Back Reminders – Guest, Pet, and Eating in Class Policies

Dear students,

Welcome to the winter term! As you return to classes, we’d like to remind you of some important campus policies.

For the safety, privacy, and academic success of all students and community members, pets and guests are not permitted on-campus without prior approval. The college also maintains a no-eating policy in classrooms and clinic treatment rooms. Meals must be eaten in the student lounge during scheduled breaks. This is shared to support a safe and appropriate environment for both learning and treatment. Please reach out to your Campus Director with any questions. Thank you for helping us maintain a professional, respectful, and comfortable learning environment for everyone. Wishing you a successful term!

Guests on Campus
Guests, including minor children, may not be brought by students to classrooms or to the clinic (unless as a patient in authorized areas). They may not be left attended or unattended in any part of the college during periods when the student is engaged in classroom or clinical activities unless permission is granted by the campus director.

Pets on Campus
Pets of any kind, aside from documented service animals, are not permitted in the school’s buildings at any time. If you are the owner of a service animal, please register with our Student Services Coordinator Katherine Rivera at [email protected].

Eating in Classrooms/Clinic

Eating is not permitted in classrooms or clinic treatment rooms. Meals must be eaten in the student lounge during scheduled breaks. If there’s a one-time or emergency situation where you need to eat, small minimally disruptive snacks (ex: items without strong odors or loud crunching) may be allowed if they do not disrupt safety, cleanliness, or the learning environment.
