Thursday June 26th from 4:45pm to 5:45pm – Room 2/3
Join Dr. Joss Martinez (They/Them) for a workshop exploring how gender-affirming and trauma-informed frameworks come to life in clinical practice. Through a live demonstration of Gua Sha techniques to support healing after masculinizing top surgery, Joss will guide participants in understanding the nuance, sensitivity, and intention this requires.
We invite alumni, students and faculty. These sessions can be beneficial to Massage Therapists and Acupuncturists that want to make their practice safe spaces for queer people and thrive while doing so. Nursing students are also invited to attend!!
This event is hosted by the Queer Student Alliance and the Healing Roots Collective.
