New York Campus Tutors

Hello Students,

Many have requested to see a list of available tutors and what subjects they can tutor in. You can see all our current tutors and their general availability. You can contact them directly, but please fill out the Tutor Request Form to formally request tutoring.

If need help with studying, understanding or retaining information? Need to prep for an exam? Please complete the form below to be linked with a tutor. If you are requesting any in-person tutoring may need to be scheduled a week in advance, depending on space available on campus. This is for the acu and massage programs. Nursing students have their own specific tutoring program.  Remember, success is where preparation and opportunity meet! Please make sure to give a variety of times to match you with a tutor.

As a reminder when you join any of the Microsoft Teams meetings for tutoring, please unmute yourself and announce yourself so the tutor will know you are there. All payments are discussed with the tutor, and you can pay via Zelle, Cashapp, Venmo, or Apple Pay. Whichever you and the tutor decide on works best. Tutoring is $5 per hour you work with that tutor.

The college recognizes that confidentiality is important. The college will make every effort to respect the confidentiality and privacy of all parties involved. When looking into the matter, particularly when a grievance is filed, the school will pay attention to any due process or other rights the accused might have.

The Preferred Name Request form enables students, faculty or staff who wish to identify by a chosen name other than their legal first name the opportunity to request their first name be updated in our systems for the purpose of being seen and referred to by their preferred name. Last names can only be changed by legally changing your name through the court system. Please note that Name Change Request must be approved by the college administration and once approved, may take 7-10 business days to go into effect in our systems. Please refer to the College’s Preferred Name Policy for more information.
