New Staff – Director of Student Services Dr. Naaja Rogers

Dear NY Community,

Please join me in welcoming our newest team member Dr. Naaja Rogers, Director of Student Services for acupuncture and massage programs at the NY campus!

Naaja Rogers, Ph.D., was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She holds a Doctorate in Africology and African American Studies from Temple University, an M.A. from SUNY Albany, and a B.A. from the University of Rochester, both in Black Studies. Naaja brings nearly 10 years of experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, and advising across various institutional settings. As a dedicated student-centered advocate and educator, she strives to make college an invaluable experience for all who attend. Naaja enjoys cooking, traveling, hanging out with friends and family, binging 90s comfort sitcoms, reading, and spoiling her cat, Ginger.

The Director of Student Services serves as an advocate for student success throughout the academic lifecycle for students enrolled in our acupuncture and massage programs, and actively coaches students from the point of enrollment to graduation. The Director also serves as the Student Council Advisor and is responsible for fostering student engagement by coordinating and supporting student activities and events.
