    Masks are still required

    October 8th, 2021

Following the guidance of the CDC and the State of California for healthcare settings, masks are still required indoors regardless of vaccination status.

Surgical masks or KN95 masks are mandatory while in the clinic. In a classroom or office setting, cloth masks are acceptable. If you are a staff member with a private office, you may take off your mask when alone in your office with your office door closed.

What is considered an appropriate mask?

    Daily Screenings.

If you are coming onto campus, you must complete a daily screening upon entering. We are urging all students, staff, and faculty to do the daily screening electronically using the COVID-19 Daily Symptoms Self-Check-In form on the hub or use the QR code below:

Once you have submitted your answers to the self-check-in form, you will receive an email stating whether you are cleared or not cleared to come to campus. When you arrive at the screening table, you can show the screener your clearance email and have your temperature taken. The screener will provide you a sticker. You will have to wear the sticker on your school ID and visible on your person during the duration of the day while on campus.

Please do not come to campus if you have any of the listed symptoms within the last 14 days. The list of symptoms includes sore throat, cough, chills and/or body aches, congestion or runny nose, loss of smell/taste, shortness of breath, headaches, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, and/or loss of appetite.

If you have any of the listed symptoms, a chronic illness that presents with one of the symptoms, or not sure whether your symptoms warrant a yes or no answer, please contact:
