How do students new to CourseKey log in?
If you’re new to CourseKey this term, access will not be available until two weeks before your courses begin. Once available, log in to the CourseKey mobile app using single sign-on.
Does Course Key apply to online courses and/or in-person courses for Winter 2025?
CourseKey will apply to all courses and programs college wide–both in person and online. Many students and programs throughout the college are already successfully using CourseKey. For example, the Transitional Doctorate program, the nursing programs, and the NY massage program. Additionally, all three college student clinics both on site and off site are already using CourseKey too.
For synchronous courses, what happens on midterm and final days when students are only expected to be there for the duration of the exam?
Students will check-in via the CourseKey mobile app at the beginning of class. Students are not marked as absent if they complete the exam early.
What’s the process for adjusting clinic hours if a student forgets to clock in/clock out?
In the event a clinic student is unable to check in or check out, alert the clinic manager or director of clinical services, and they will make the manual adjustment in CourseKey.
What happens if I’m unable to check in to a synchronous class?
In the event a student is unable to check in to a synchronous class, alert the instructor, and they will be able to make the manual adjustment in CourseKey.
If I leave a synchronous class before it ends, how does my attendance get recorded?
In the event a student leaves class before it ends, the instructor will manually adjust the student’s attendance status in CourseKey.
What happens if I experience technical difficulties with CourseKey?
If you experience technical difficulties with CourseKey, including issues with logging in, please contact the Pacific College Help Desk.
