With Herb comps around the corner, the clinic herb pharmacy can also be used as an herbal library and study aid, as long as it is not conflicting with a clinic shift’s needs.
If you are in an herbal class, there are already plans in place to bring either the class to the herb room or samples from the herb room to the classroom. If you are not in an herbal class this term, you may come into the herb room provided it is not in use by the clinic shift. Please sign in at the clinic front desk before entering and follow all procedures while in the herb room.
There is no limit to the number of times that a student may use the herb room for study use, as long as it is not currently occupied.
For liability, the PCHS clinic does not sell herbs to anyone who is not a licensed herbalist, or who does not have a signed herbal prescription. The clinic reserves the right to ask that a student return at a different time, that any lingering student(s) leave the herb room, or refuse access for whatever reason, such as a busy shift or failure to handle the herbs properly. The clinic also reserves the right to adjust this policy.
