CH Students: Apply for Prestigious Schweitzer Fellowship

Dear Students,

We are sharing an exciting opportunity with you. The Schweitzer Fellowship is recruiting graduate students in health, social service, and public interest professions to apply for 2025-2026 fellowships. The deadline to apply is February 1st, 2025.

The Schweitzer Fellowship is a prestigious year-long service learning program for graduate students in health-related professions who design and implement innovative direct-service projects to improve the health and well-being of underserved Chicago area communities. Annually, they select 26 graduate students from diverse fields to become Fellows who will design and implement year-long direct service projects. They are seeking Pacific College of Health and Science students to join the next class. In addition to their service projects, other elements of the Fellowship program inspire and inform the Fellows and reinforce their commitment to community service. These elements include supportive mentors, training and workshops, and monthly meetings with a cohort of Fellows passionate about collaboration to improve health equity.  Fellows receive a $2,750 stipend for their participation.
